[SAINT PAUL] Saturday, May 16, 2025 – Morrissey Hospitality announce that Pazzaluna Urban Italian Restaurant and Bar will close as of May 31, 2025. Pazzaluna temporarily closed March 17, 2025, in compliance with MN Executive Order 20-04 and the subsequent two extensions.
Morrissey Hospitality is working to provide opportunities for our Pazzaluna staff, some of who have been with the restaurant since the doors first opened on October 27, 1998. Pazzaluna will be providing severance packages to all Pazzaluna employees, and Morrissey Hospitality will retain ownership of 360 St. Peter St.
"Irrespective of when restrictions are lifted, we are not confident in the immediate return of customers who are worried about their health and family members. Pazzaluna was created for our customers to enjoy each other's company in a sharing, vibrant atmosphere," noted Richard Dobransky, President of Morrissey Hospitality.
When Pazzaluna served its first guest in 1998, it created a new urban Italian dining experience in the Twin Cities. With that legacy and an eye on the future, we are reimagining new possibilities for the location and investigating new opportunities for the Pazzaluna brand in the future and in new locations.
